Since 1959, Katrin cable car has brought a range of visitors to the summit. Enjoy a charming 15-minute drive to more than 1,400 m above sea level with spectacular views! The network of the circular walk extends from lovely Feuer- and Rosenkogerl westwards to the imperial Katrin summit and further to the beautiful Elferkogel, followed by the romantic Hainzen and the mighty Rosskopf - always accompanied by the impressive mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut that will inspire you. Multi-generation VIA FERRATA: Apart from fun and action for those who want to be active, the promising fixed rope route (suitable for families) offers a fabulous view of the most beautiful lakes of the Salzkammergut region. As highlight, the ascent ends at the majestic cross on the summit of Mount Katrin.

Das Marmorschlössl in Bad Ischl wurde um 1860 im Kaiserpark errichtet und von Kaiser Franz Joseph I. und der Kaiserin Elisabeth als Frühstückssalon benutzt. Heute finden im ehemaligen Rückzugsort der Kaiserin jährlich Wechselausstellungen statt.
